A Note from our Founder

House of Laundry was born out of a season of unexpected challenges. When my daughters were diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, my world shifted. I needed a way to be present for every doctor’s visit and therapy appointment, but I also needed a way to provide.

What began as a necessity became a rediscovery. In the quiet moments at home, I found myself returning to the foundational art of garment care. I realized that laundry isn’t just a chore—it’s an act of service and pride. I saw how much relief a perfectly folded basket could bring to a busy family, and I realized that in life’s most demanding seasons, we all deserve a little more space to breathe.

At House of Laundry, we treat your wardrobe with a garment-centered focus. We don’t just “do laundry”; we follow the rules of the fabric, honor your personal care preferences, and design scheduling that makes your days easier.

When our signature blue arrives at your door, my goal is for you to feel more than just relief. I want you to experience the quiet joy of a task turned into a work of art.

Fresh. Folded. Beautiful. That is our promise to you, so you can focus on the things—and the people—that matter most.

With care,

Shonna Almonte
